Check out our new TV ads!

This August, Cancer Council is relaunching Daffodil Day, Australia’s number one cancer fundraising event. Our brand new TV commercial, running nationwide, has just launched!

The creative idea behind this year’s campaign is that no matter who you are, you should buy a daffodil on Daffodil Day. It is based on the fact that 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85 and therefore the chances are will all be touched by cancer, whether personally or through someone we know closely.

Take a sneak peak at our TV ad here.

Join the fight this Daffodil Day

One of the hardest things you could ever face is watching a loved one fighting cancer. Just ask Anne Lindell, whose granddaughter Morgyn Glyndwr was diagnosed with cancer at just two years old. In this video, Anne describes little Morgyn's ordeal, and tells us what it’s like to face a cancer diagnosis in the family.

One in two Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, which means that sadly most of us will be forced to face it in some way. But there is something you can do to help. Ms Lindell, along with Cancer Council Australia, is asking all Australians to buy a daffodil this Daffodil Day on Friday 28 August. Your donation could help save the life of someone you love, or help prevent another family from facing the same plight as Morgyn and Anne.
