I’m fundraising for Daffodil Day, to support advancements in life-saving cancer research.  

This year, cancer has touched our workplace family in a very personal way. Two of our valued team members, Lauren Hall and Mandy Taylor, are bravely facing cancer and showing incredible strength through their journeys.

Lauren Hall is our dedicated Housekeeping Manager and former Front Office Manager. Recently, at a young age, she was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma Diffuse Type — a rare and aggressive form of stomach cancer that is rarely seen in women or young people. Lauren is now preparing to undergo eight rounds of chemotherapy, followed by a major surgery to remove her stomach in order to give her the best chance of a cure. Despite the shock of this diagnosis, Lauren has shown resilience, courage, and positivity that continues to inspire all of us.

Mandy Taylor has been part of our team for many years and is admired for her warmth, kindness, and quiet determination. She has been living with pancreatic cancer for several years, enduring ongoing chemotherapy and treatments. While there is currently no cure, Mandy continues to face each day with incredible bravery and strength, showing us all what it means to keep fighting with grace and hope.
