Daffodil Day Dip 2025

My Activity Tracking

kms

In August, I’ll be swimming in cold water for the almost 1 in 2 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.

We have all lost somebody to cancer or know somebody who has beaten it. Please donate to my challenge!

The funds I raise from my Daffodil Day Dip challenge will help power world-class cancer research to save lives.

Your support means so much to me. Please help create a cancer free future by donating to my fundraiser now! 💛

In memory of my good mates, Ben Prior and Dicky Robinson.

My Updates

Thursday 21st Aug

Day 21, Dip 16 - over 3/4 of the way to 20 dips

Today is Daffodil Day, and I'm just feeling so grateful for the generosity and support of the many people who have donated to this important cause. Around Australia in shops and other locations you will see badges for sale like the ones we have here at the Clem Jones Centre, please remember to stop and buy a badge, so we can spread the word, as every bit counts.

Thursday 14th Aug

Day 14, Dip 10 - Half way to the finish line!

Today Maggie and I were joined by Joel, one of the fit, young people who trains and works here at the Clem Jones Centre. Almost halfway through August and halfway to my goal of 20 swims!!!

I encourage as many people as possible to join us at the Clem Jones Aquatic Centre this Sunday 17 August at 8.30am for a cold plunge followed by coffee at our lovely cafe. Your entry fee will be donated by the Centre to the Cancer Council. We will also be joined by Christine from the Cancer Council, who will tell us how the funds we are raising will make a difference.

See you here on Sunday!

Thursday 7th Aug

Day 7, Dip 5 - 1/4 of the way to my target of 20 swims...

Cold water swimming is better when done with mates. Meet Maggie, founder of the Clem Jones Daffodils. Thanks to Maggie's decision to start this challenge here at the Clem Jones Centre, we have raised over $10,000 for Cancer Research. What a bloody legend!

Friday 1st Aug

Day 1, Dip 1 + 500m

My first dip for August was a solo. For some reason I can't coax the other swimmers here to join me in the Cool Pool!

Thank you to our Supporters
