In August, I’ll be plunging into cold water for the almost 1 in 2 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.
Please donate to my challenge!
The funds I raise from my Daffodil Day Dip challenge will help power world-class cancer research to save lives.
Your support means so much to me. Please help create a cancer free future by donating to my fundraiser now! 💛
My Impact
I’ve helped equip 9 researchers with essential lab equipment needed to conduct life-saving research.

Happy Daffodil Day 🌼
I really didn't feel like riding my bike and going into the rockpool this morning.
It was raining (and it has been pouring down for days in Cronulla) and it just felt so freezing cold! But it's D Day - Daffodil Day - so I did it!
Once I was in I swam a few laps and before I got up I turned on my back. While floating I thought of how grateful I am to live just a bike ride away from a rockpool where I can do exercise in the ocean surrounded by beautiful Cronulla.

Another 12 laps!
Got up before dawn to swim 12 laps in honour of my sister Wanja, who survived brain cancer, by raising money for the Cancer Council. Not gonna lie, it was freezing before and when I walked in but it's amazing how quickly your body warms up and feels energised when you start swimming!

My first Daffodil Day Dip!
I did my first Daffodil Day dip in the rain today! And there's more to come.
The reason I'm doing this is there's a lot of cancer in my family: my sister, dad, niece, uncle and grandmother all had it. And I was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2016. I'm cancer-free now and I'm so grateful!
Before I knew about the Daffodil Day dip a friend, Lisa offered to take me ocean swimming.
The goal is to swim around Shark Island in Cronulla by my 42nd birthday (I turned 41 in June). When I heard about the Daffodil Day dip I thought I'd sign up to show my support for the Cancer Council.
If anyone wants to donate, I'd really appreciate it!
