In August, I’ll be plunging into cold water for the almost 1 in 2 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.
This year, I am dedicating my August Daffodil Day dips to my late grandmother, Thelma May Lowrie, Sadly, my beautiful grandmother passed away due to cancer in her early 50s ( my age now) whilst my Mother was pregnant with me. Whilst I swim for my mental health and wellbeing, I’m hoping that you will support me throughout August, so we can continue the ongoing, much needed research into improving Cancer treatment and outcomes for Australians and the rest of the world 🌼
