In August, I’ll be taking an icy plunge for my mum, who means everything to me.
She passed away from breast cancer at just 48. It was quick and came out of nowhere, something we never saw coming. I was only nine, and my sister was eleven. Losing her changed our lives forever.
She was the kindest, most amazing mum, strong, loving, and always putting others first. I’m doing this to honour her, and to spread awareness about how sudden and silent cancer can be.
The funds I raise from my Daffodil Day Dip challenge will help power world-class cancer research to save lives.
