What A Month ๐๐ผ๐
Well the past 3 days have rounded out the official month of August dipping. Iโm so proud of myself, a little emotional & grateful for this month to reflect, remember & be present. Iโm also grateful for having access to the group of inspiring fellow dippers who participated around Aus for their inspiration, support & kindness, And for the kind donations for what this all started for. We all wish Cancer wasnโt a thing but we have to keep supporting the research๐๐๐ผ

Week 4 โ
Feeling very grateful for support. I had originally started this as a personal challenge for myself and to sit & remember my family members & to donate what I might otherwise spend mindlessly to a great cause. But the fabulous people on the Daffodil Dip Facebook group made it such fun & have provided such inspiration. My brother shared it so last week so I began to shared it to. I so thankful for kind donations and messages ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ

Week 3 Completed
Uncle Mike, Tommy Byrne, Cousin Mary, ย Aunt Breda who have left us before we were ready & Aunt Rose who has beaten breast cancer. Iโm ย reflecting on the courage it takes to push through with all the uncertainty & against all odds at times. The people I have known have shown me such special qualities that Iโm not sure I have in me. The selflessness they have demonstrated worrying about how their results will affect others when they should be their No1 priority . ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ

1 Week In ๐ผ๐
Delighted I took on this challenge. A small way to pay respect & appreciation for what so many volunteers have done for cancer awareness over the years and for those who are in the fight against it now. But mostly to reflect on the true courage, grace & spirit that Mary showed through her journey. She was absolutely amazing. We had you for a short time but you left us with so much more.ย
This week Iโve made an effort to go to different beaches in the area that I am so blessed to have on my door step.
What a week, got to love Melbourne ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
