This August I’m taking part in Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day Dip and aiming to raise $500 for Australians affected by cancer.
Recently I met a gentleman who shared that he has cancer and may only have a few years left to live. When I told him about this challenge, he told me he was proud of me.
His courage reminded me why these fundraisers matter. Every dip I take this August will be for people facing cancer, their families, and the hope that research can create better outcomes in the future.
