Monday 24th Aug
Final dip with friends in honour of Keri
Saved the last dip to 24/8 to honour our friend’s birthday . Dips 1&2 were in honour of the memory of Tony and Bob who were also lost this year . Both lived in FNQ & both thought I was bonkers to swim here in Melbourne ! 😘😘😘
Tuesday 18th Aug
Dip 2 !
Took advantage of the warmer day for my second dip … hadn’t thought the tide would be out so far though !! Bit of a walk to get to swim depth 🫢
Sunday 2nd Aug
First August dip !
Thought I’d get the first dip done as such a glorious day in Melbourne and a favourable northerly keeping the bay flat for me !! Was a bit chilly but lovely and clear !
Sunday 26th Jul
Completed practice dip !
I completed my first dip 18 July ! I was not in daffodil glory and just slipped into the bay unnoticed but was a glorious day and a refreshing dip ! As not August does not register so let’s hope for calm warm weather in August !
