Harbour beach Tassie Saturday 5 July 25

Entered beautiful clear, light aqua 13 °c  water on a lovely sunny day. I swam for about 30mins then clambered onto white, soft pink and blue rocks. It took me a while to sum up the courage as I was the only one in the sea at a beach I hadn't been before and there were rocks and seaweed below me. White open-faced daisies with their rich purple centres just grew out of the rocks reminding me of my childhood days with my friend Jenny who lived in kommetjie, seaside village in cape town. We used to clamber over the rocks in the warm sunshine 🌞.

Tassie plunge

Dear friends Jen and Gayle took me to harbour beach Tassie for a swim white sandy beach and light aqua water .maybe 13 deg in water but so lovely probably in for 30mins . Swam onto rocks clambered over them to find Gayle she'd gone over to the other side. Stayed in cozzie for about 1 hour didn't feel cold. Then an incredible  lunch and local cucumbrr gin at the sisters beach which had a lovely tea tree lake and geach

Take a lunge do the plunge

I love yellow and bought a bikini top in Barcelona especially for the plunge. My mom's favourite flower she said was the daffodil and she passed this year on 28 march although not from cancer mom taught me to love the ocean throwing me in around the age of two! My first plunge for this cause in memory of Gabi, Chad, Roxy, grandma Betty and aunty Marie was in Castelldefels , Spain as I was there when I signed up.I have also done sunrise plunges at Snapper Rocks, Duranbah, Kirra  Beach.  I'm now in Victoria, St Leonards visiting my eldest daughter Leesa. Here I  have had a plunge 1,off the pier at St Leonards, shared with a seal , 2 in the Bay, 3. Indented head, 4. port Lonsdale, 5.Geelong and 6 morning Peninsula at hot springs doing a cold plunge. Couldn't get any better than that!
