Saturday 29th Aug
Second last dip
Andy joined me again at Hillarys Marina for a refreshing dip. A kid who was fishing from the shore and had gone in deeper with his line, ran out saying he saw a gigantic Ray and seemed pretty freaked out.

Thursday 6th Aug
Dip #3
Had a dunk then a coffee and decided to go in again, this time right in front of the surf lifesaving club and have a proper dip but boy I underestimated the size of the waves and had to keep jumping under them, which is a bit scary for me as I’m not a particularly confident swimmer. But it was exhilarating. There’s no doubt I reckon the shower afterwards was colder than the water.

And I actually put my head under the water today! And swam around a bit. Andy was on shark watch, thanks mate.
