Today was a special day as not only was it my final dip and Daffodil Day, it is 26 years since my mum,  Joan, passed from cancer. Much love to you mum and also my brother Bruce who passed cancer in 2017.A big thank you to my support crew, firstly my main man Peter, my sister Kate and my dad, John and also the Facebook supporters.Lastly, a huge thank you to those people who have donated resulting in a total of $843 😘

Headed to Thevy slip today for a bit of shelter from the 35+km wind blowing from the north. Water temperature was 15 and air temperature 22. Looks like Spring is not far away .One more dip to go.Forgot my lovely daffodil cap so am wearing my silver mop.

Sunny today, currently 18 degrees but quite windy, 30 - 35 km, found a sheltered spot for a quick dip at the Puckridge rock jetty. 2 more to go.

A nice day day for a dip at Pinky Point, Thevenard, sun’s shining, temperature is 17 and water temperature 13. Three more to go.

Well, have passed the halfway mark, went for a dip this morning , in the rain, at Puckridge jetty, Ceduna, didn’t take very long at all to acclimatise.Will have to think of another spot for the next dip.

A brief dip in Murat Bay this morning, the water didn’t feel as cold as it has been but still invigorating, set now for the rest of the day.Five more to go.

A quick dip today, could of stayed in a bit longer but am a tad wary without the security of the enclosure net.

Took a quick dip at lunchtime today at Thevenard slipway again, the water was still around 13 but the air temperature was warmer, about 16. The water was very clear.

Much better day today, Temp 17, water temp 13. Dipped at the Thevenard slipway today for somewhere different, was good but not any warmer 😁. The rest of the week is looking relatively calm so should get a few more dips in.

Monday 4th August Well no dips for the last two days, the wind has been has been just a bit ordinary, 30-40 km/h supposed to be easing this afternoon although no sign of it yet but tomorrow’s another day ☀️

Dip no.1Well I opted for a relatively early dip, hit the water at 8:30, the weather was sunny but chilly, air temperature was 5.7, water was calm and 13degrees.Swam a couple of laps without a lot of enthusiasm and chose to get out, my lovely photographer and barista had the coffee waiting which was much appreciated. One down, nine to go. 

Hi there, I am planning on doing 10 dips during August to raise funds for the Cancer Council, the first dip will be on Saturday at the swimming enclosure, Ceduna Jetty.
