Sunday 23rd Aug
Altona Beach Dip #2
Second dip completed this morning at Altona Beach! A beautiful, calm Melbourne morning — sun out, but a cool 10oC. We started with a lovely Welcome to Country, and then I headed in. It was cold, icy, and a long way to wade before the water was deep enough to dive in - but I did it. Feet were very cold and numb. Now I’m spending my Sunday trying to warm up and enjoy the sunshine 🌞.

Cold plunge in Warrnambool
Monday 17th Aug
1 cold plunge completed!
Guess what! I did it — my first Cancer Council Cold Dip at Deep Blue Baths in Warrnambool.
No phones allowed so no pics, but I had witnesses 😅
I worked up to it: a few quick dips in and out, then 1 minute, 2 minutes... and finished with a 5 minute stint 🥶
Thankfully the hot pools were right there to warm me up after!
