5th dip done this morning!!!
I’ve completed 5 early morning dips (sans wetsuit) in the Bay this month. I have raised over $1500 towards cancer research. It’s been uncomfortable for me because I’m not an early riser and I don’t like being cold to the point of numbness. But it has been my choice. People don’t choose cancer and cancer is uncomfortable in so many ways. I send my love & hope to all of you. I want to express my huge thanks to all the wonderful family & friends who have donated, and a promise I will be doing this again in 2027 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛
Tuesday 25th Aug
4th dip done - I reached my goal!
Last Saturday 22/8 Sue & I dipped on a windy early morning with the lovely Mordi Seadippers.I achieved my goal for the Daffodil Day dip but August is not yet over. If I dip again this Saturday, will I get some more donations to fund the awesome research done by the Cancer Council?I am so appreciative of all the wonderful donations & support received so far from friends & family. The Dipping is not over! 💛💛

Completed my 3rd dip, this one at lovely Aspendale with Aspendale Otters who put on an amazing event at the Aspendale LSC.
