In August, I’ll be plunging into cold water for the almost 1 in 2 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85. 

Please donate to my challenge!

Hey all,

I'm doing the dip this year as mum survived lung cancer a few years ago (never smoked a ciggie in her life) and now dads getting the whole chop chop of the lung, possible asbestosis, results in a couple of weeks.

Let's see if i can get some of you folk to donate so more work can go into making this cancer stuff a thing of the past.

There was frost on the sand, the water was on the chilly side,  but the morning was beautiful!

It was stormy!!! managed to get in the water before getting wet by the rain 😏Oh and the Daffodil cap arrived in the post yesterday, just in time to make it's inaugural dip today.

It would be just like summer if it wasn't for the icy water, freezing sand and cold temperatures 😏

Cloudy on both days, with a slight breeze that reminded me IT IS COLD! I only managed a quick 700mtr swim on both days... my brain froze and I couldn't go on 😏
