This year, someone in our immediate family has been diagnosed with stage four cancer. We now live with the dreaded 'time' question lingering around our lives. We've watched our person be braver than possible in the face of terrible news and do it all with a smile. Its been a learning curve for our family but relationships are stronger as walk this together. As we face all the what ifs we have been blessed with the time we have now and the memories we continue to make.
I been given a unique perspective as a palliative care nurse, that I didnt really need! I understand deeper the path my patients have travelled before they reach my care.
