Whalesong underwater!
Today we heard whalesong under the water in Laguna Bay.Apparently, August is the start of the annual humpback “crossover” when northbound whales seeking breeding grounds cross paths with mothers and their newborn calves.Bring on the whalesong!

My Daffodil cap is a winner!
This morning I swam in Laguna Bay in my “money can’t buy” Daffodil cap on Daffodil Day!Whilst a very pretty adornment, I was concerned about the cap’s functionality .Happy to report It’s a winner - well constructed, very comfortable to wear and perfect for HI VIS purposes out in the water!Thank you Cancer Council!💛🌼💛

Two Turtles in Little Cove!
On Saturday morning we had the joy of swimming in from Little Cove, Noosa with two turtle escorts!! Very special. Their presence certainly took our mind off the water’s temperature!

There are a lot of humpbacks in and around Noosa’s beautiful Laguna Bay so hopefully my swim tomorrow will be serenaded by the glorious sounds of whalesong!
