In August, I’ll be plunging into cold water for the almost 1 in 2 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.
I'm taking part this August in the Cancer Council's Daffodil Day Dip because fundraising for cancer research is deeply personal to me.
My beautiful grandfather has been bravely battling cancer for the past 5 years, and watching his strength and resilience through it all has been both heartbreaking and inspiring. I love him more than words can say, and this is my way of honoring him and supporting everyone who is fighting, surviving, or has lost someone to cancer.
Every dollar raised brings us closer to a future free from cancer - and that is a future worth dipping for.
