This message is another ‘Thank You’ to all the kind, generous and caring family and friends who donated to my Daffodil Day Fundraiser. Those 10 swims were nothing compared to what cancer sufferers endure and the funds raised will go towards research's that will, one day soon,  bring an end to that suffering. So, from my heart to your hearts, thank you ALL. Marilyn 🌼🌼

Such a beautiful bay we walk Astro here often and so to end this fund raising campaign we thought it would be great to have a finalDip here. Astro best me to it and San out of his depth so I had no choice but to aim out and bring him back to the shore. Clive was running around shouting instructions and forgot to take a photo of the two of us - both drenched! Thank you for being our driver and photographer, Clive. Who knew you had so much patience? 

Astro and I hit the dog beach at Umina yesterday but he wasn’t keen to jump in with me. Waves were a bit much for him so I went solo. One more to go.

The sun was up so the water temperature must be warmer. Yes? No! It was cold but refreshing until I was bowled over by a rather small wave. Two dips to go!

No photos this week as, after waving ‘bye ‘bye to Covid-19 I caught that awful influenza and have been unable to swim. I’ll make it Up over the weekend. Unless I catch something else!

I caved in! It was too cold and raining yesterday so I opted for a cold shower quickly followed by a hot bath!  Three more to go. 

Astro wouldn’t partake a swim today. Too cold for him so it was ‘Only the Lonely’again! But a lot of laughs too!

Clive Donated $132.00 on Friday and we can’t see it has been added to my account. Thank you so much for all your support, Clive. You and Adam have been great support getting me to the beach and taking photos in all kinds of weather. 

Only the Lonely today  However Astro Boy was my cheerleader and looked very cute in my daffodil cap. Did a bit of wave surfing too. This actually my 5th dip. 

With Adam  today.  Two is always company and more fun. 

Adam joined me for my dip today. It was a sizzling 21 degrees so quite pleasant at Icean Beach, Umina. Only a few jelly fish today. Thank your for helping me find raise, Adam and for joining me today. 

Dip No. 4. It was colder today and very windy. So many jelly fish and stingers I didn’t venture too far out. I’m really awake now!

Umina Beach welcomed me with low waves and freezing water! Nonstingers so Bonus!
