Thursday 21st Aug
I did it!
Today I braved dips 4 and 5 in the freezing ocean! The water was absolutely icy, but the thought that it could make a difference for even one person kept me going. Taking the plunge for Daffodil Day is such a small challenge compared to what so many people face every day, and if it helps raise awareness or funds for cancer research, it’s completely worth it!

This dip was much easier than the first. Does that mean by the 21st of August, diving into the sea will feel like slipping into a warm bath? One can dream...

First dip!
I was only going to do one big plunge on August 21.Took the kids swimming tonight and thought I may as well jump in.The dip was fine...the walk back to the car was absolutely freezing 🥶
