In August, I’ll be plunging into cold water for the almost 1 in 2 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.

Please donate to my challenge!

The funds I raise from my Daffodil Day Dip challenge will help power world-class cancer research to save lives.

Your support means so much to me. Please help create a cancer free future by donating to my fundraiser now! 💛

Tuesday 18th Aug

Nearly there.

Wednesday 12th Aug

Another one ticked off

Met another survivor last night. Makes me happy to helping out financially for research.

Tuesday 11th Aug

To my immediate family and friends.

I have lost my sister to breast cancer 19 years ago. Since that sad occasion, her daughter, a cousin and several of my closest friends have been suffering from cancer. However the advances in research have enabled these wonderful women life saving treatments, that was not available for my sister . It is meaningful for me to be aware of how lives and well being are improved,  with research  from money raised through Daffodil Day.

Sunday 9th Aug

Happy dips in my favourite place

Centenary pool. Soon to close for rebuild for 2032 Olympics Brisbane.

Tuesday 4th Aug

No 5 at iconic Centenry pool

Soon to be closed. It’s a beautiful pool with iconic architecture   Some will be retained for Olympic 2032 but its closure from September 1 is very disappointing for the daily swimmer and training teams.
