I am often shocked by just how many of my nearest and dearest have been touched by the impact of cancer. We are so proud of our youngest daughter Ash who is now in the Grad Program at Peter Mac in Melbourne as an Oncology Nurse. She also volunteers her “spare” time to help Kids Living with Cancer to do enjoyable things - camps, outings and experiences to enrich their compromised lives. I have been involved with the Koala Kids Foundation for many years which provides fun and engaging support for Kids who are hospitalised during cancer treatment or palliative care - providing fun birthday cakes and art/craft materials to occupy their time when it drags during the long hours in a hospital bed.
