Ok. I bought a house with a pool - that wasn't in my plan. So now I need to put that pool to good use, which means braving the cold water in August. Brrr! I’ll be plunging into cold water for the almost 1 in 2 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.

The funds I raise from my Daffodil Day Dip challenge will help power world-class cancer research to save lives.

I have sent out so many invitations to donate to this very worthwhile cause and nothing. I'm not asking for myself. I'm asking for all those who have had a loved one touched by cancer, who are experiencing cancer in their own lives, or who might experience cancer in the future. Cancer treatments have come a long way over the years. And that progress has only been achieved through research, and research is expensive. Please consider donating.
