Hi everyone, it’s Peta-Kaye. Happy Saturday and welcome to the first day of August!
I’m taking on a challenge that’s really important to me.
This month I’m participating in Daffodil Dip Day to raise money for cancer research through the Cancer Council. I’ve done this fundraiser before and raised $500, but this year I’ve set myself a goal of raising $1,000 — and the challenge is to take a dip every day throughout August.
I’d love your support. Any donation, big or small, will help fund cancer research, prevention programs, and support services for people and families affected by cancer.
I’d also love people to join me for a dip! I’ll be visiting some beautiful spots around the Gold Coast, so send me a message if you’d like to come along.
Like so many of us, I’ve seen the impact cancer has on people we love. This is my way of helping, while also encouraging us to get outside, connect with each other, and do something positive for our health and wellbeing.
I’ve completed my first dip today in the Broadwater, and I’d be so grateful for your support in helping me reach my $1,000 goal.
