Final Sunset Daffodil Dip! Thanks for supporting.
What a truly inspiring and empowering final Daffodil Dip! Sunset at the beautiful Mona Vala Beach on the last day of winter - welcoming in the hope of Spring in the morning. Water temp was a wonderful 17.9 - it felt amazing to dive beneath the surface - even had the joy of my littlest monkey, Vivi, joining me and my close friend Marjaana and her daughter Alisa. We followed our swim with an astronomy lesson at Mona Vale Beach with some lovely locals (thanks, Kyle and Susan) as we watched the International Space Station brightly chart the skies. It felt like such a positive end to my month of cold dips. Some have been in the ocean whenever possible - others, due to bad weather and rough seas, have been cold showers at ocean beach showers or at home (much colder than the ocean at around 15 degrees ha ha).
To all of my beautiful friends (Marcela, Dom and Margie) who are surviving cancer at this time with grace, positivity and an unwavering determination to kick is ass - you are truly AMAZING and provide perspective and some of the greatest life lessons.
To sweetest Bowen, who was only 6 when his beautiful spirit flew home (one of Abby's preschool friends) - you will always be a shining light - your smile in even the hardest of times could light up the earth. We love you always.
