Back for our second year, the Daffodil Day Dip is more than just a bracing swim — it’s a show of strength, solidarity, and community spirit as we raise funds for the Cancer Council.
Last year’s dip was filled with laughter, shrieks, and proud faces — and this year, we’re diving back in, with even more determination to make a difference.
Like so many, our club has felt the impact of cancer personally. We honour the memory of David Tapscott, a much-loved member of Portland SLSC whose passion, leadership, and kindness left a lasting mark on our club. We dip for David — and for the many others in our lives who have faced cancer with courage.
Everyone knows someone.
This event is a way to give back, remember, and stand together — even if our teeth are chattering while we do it.
Please donate if you can, or come down to cheer us on. Every dollar goes to the Cancer Council, and every splash counts.
