DIP 19 of My 19 DIPs ~ Dip 4 Today itself My COLD PLUNGE Goal where I made My Committment on Behalf of the Cancer Council Daffodil Day  & Cancer Council Australia  to RAISE AWARENESS of The Support that the Cancer Council Provides Firstly in Research in All Things #Cancer and For Supporting People with Cancer and their Families who help Care for them...

2025 has Been a Pivotal Year for Myself in Being On The Sidelines like Never Before where CANCER has Truely Touched My Own Life- not Directly Personally but  of My Beloved. (Which is Just as Hard to Not Be Able To Help Any) The RollarCoaster I've Observed by Walking Beside Him of the Myriad of Health Care Scans, Diagnosises, Treatment Plans to Follow and then  Actual Therapy Regimes Commenced has been Overwhelming and Quite Frankly Very Scary.

There is Such a Array of Information to Discover, Choices to Be Weighed Up, Medical Opinions to Seek Out and then Decisions to Be Made as To How to Confront the Reality that One Now Faces...And then there is All of A Sudden an Influx of Social Media SPONSORED ADS, TV Radio and NewsPrint all with Hourly Breaking News on Some New Cure or CAUSE, Pill, Famous Celebrity Death or Even a New GURU to Subscribe Too and Follow...Then theres People in Waiting Rooms or Family and Friends with Advice on What to Try, or Elinimate from Your Life/Diet or Exercise Programme to Follow...

These Days It Seems Your "Damned If You Do Or Dont" in  whatever you do...

So, All I Can  Personally Do is Show Up With LOVE in My Heart and Hope and with the Belief that LAUGHTER can Make Each Day just a Little Brighter and More WorthWhile, and By Showing that to My Beloved and All Others who are Dealing With Cancer that They Are Not Alone.. They Are Loved And That Healing is Possible and Most Certainly Prayed For by Me!!!

 and by Joining the Daffodil Day Dip  Challenge is SIMPLY a Bonus in Making a Positive Difference and Contributing to a Day that Cancer Is No Longer Anyones Reality or Nightmare...

So much Slimy Mud further along the Lakes Water Edge. but covering the Boulders just enough to make it harder to Wade out Deep enough to DIP Again... Yes It was "Terrible Twos" today; and I came home Doubly Cold Too, but Nevertheless I Believe in What I'm doing - its not only a Show of LOVE and SUPPORT for My Beloved Man and Family and Friends that are also Going Through the Challenges of Cancer Treatment.. But I have a Firm Belief in that Research in Cancer Causes and Cures need to be So Extensively Varied so All People going through it can receive the very best Therapy to hopefully get them through their Health Crisis with the Most Effective  Treatments possible...Avra Kehdabra 🙏 ❤ 

Funny Weve Lived in Launceston for as long as we have and Today was our first venture to Trevallyn Recreation Reserve....   What a Wonderful Spot... wow but let me tell you- My Toes found Near every Boulder along that Dam Wall edge... 

A Post DISCONNECTION Day, So I went out on my own and Dared The Ducks To Chase Me...  At Least I Found More Feathers as I also walked around the Lake, and listened to Bubbling Creek behind for some time...such a Peaceful Spot which is a great place to retreat to when Time Out and Relxation is Warranted...  

On #DaffodilDayDip FB Page found a post Inviting any Northern Tasmanians to Join The Daffodil Dames of Launceston at the Launceston Aquatic & Leisure Centre, High Street...  Could resist the Opportunity to check the place out - so did not expect 100's of people about, and then had to wait for The Life Guard so we could be Safely Led to OUTSIDE POOL... Safety In Numbers as They Say, though a Jump not a wise move for me personally - but I was able to disguise the Hurt it caused ... PS #ChronicPain SUX but #CANCERSUCKS Much Much More  😔 

I'd Had a Brain Wave - MYRTLE CREEK would be Easy Access.....So Another Road Trip around Roads covered with Black Ice!Arrived there with Council Workers in Driveway, Signage on All Buildings "CLOSED FOR WINTER"...  My Beloved Proudly Explained to Council Guy what I was doing - He was very Surprised and yet Refused our Entry to the Park, but Suggested Corkeys Road abit further down the HWY...  Meanwhile the 🕷 🚙 Spider Temp Guage kept reliably telling us it was 1 Degree outside with a Drivers Hazard prompt or two "Warning - ICY ROADS"   Should Have been Obvious given the Frozen Road Puddles right next to where I dipped...  SO Cold, He couldnt operate the phone Functions well enough to fully film that Indeed I dipped to Over Shoulder Depths....  The Bonus of the Moment was seeing an EAGLE 🦅 Circle Above me the Entire Time I was in the Creek... 

Drove the Country Side to find Accessible Entry Points for Me to Enter Water Safely....  Found Ourselves at Corra Linn.. The Rapids through the Cliffs at The Entry Gate so Powerful, I was relieved to find Calmer Waters to Plunge.. on a Personal Note My Beloved had his Last FOLFOX Cycle 9 on the 5th...  SO Proud of How Well He Has Managed this Challenge thus far... PS #CANCERSUCKS 

Dip 3 Found us at HADSPEN RIVER RESERVE; where the Water So Cold, I was Sure it was RunOff Direct From Ben Lomond Itself...  Cold Plunge Indeed Achieved...
