In August, I’ll be plunging into cold water and swimming 400m -1km for the almost 1 in 2 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.
Please donate to my challenge!
The funds I raise from my Daffodil Day Dip challenge will help power world-class cancer research to save lives.
Your support means so much to me. Please help create a cancer free future by donating to my fundraiser now! 💛

No photo but GPS is my witness
4th day in a row for a cold dip and just 2 metres short of 800m swim at 798m. 10°C water temp. 20 mins before hitting the water I was tucked up in bed and once in the water wondering “In heaven’s name, what am I doing?”I know if I was laid up receiving treatment for cancer I’d give anything to experience the exhilaration of the cold beautiful sea. Sadly many face this challenge of treatment hoping that this round of chemo will do it. That’s why it’s important to donate .1 in 2 of us are likely the ‘C’ word diagnosis at some time but thankfully due to research, new cures are more common.
Friday 1st Aug
