In August, I’ll be plunging into cold water for the almost 1 in 2 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85. I'll be especially thinking of my mum every time I take the plunge as she currently undergoes treatment.

A beautiful day today, so beautiful that there were several others on a beach I usually have to myself in winter! Some of them were even in the water...Only 1 more dip to go. So many thanks to everyone who has donated so far! I'd love to reach my goal. Please help me if you can!.

The weather is so warm at the moment it hardly seems a challenge to submerge. Although I did notice a group of male youths shrieking as they jumped in. The nonchalance and resilience of age!!!🤣

Taking some practice dips throughout July, only a few days to go until August when the dips start counting toward our fundraising.The weather and the water have both been beautiful. If you are ever down this way I would love you to join me, even if it is just your toes that go dipping.😊
