Freezing for a Cause: Cold Swim in Little Snowy Creek
On Saturday, 9 August, nestled in the serene surrounds of Little Snowy Creek near Mitta Mitta, I took a plunge that was as bold as it was brisk. The occasion? A cold swim to raise funds and awareness for Daffodil Day, supporting cancer research and the hope it brings to so many.
The water was icy, the air crisp, and the moment unforgettable—not just because of the cause, but because it also happened to be my birthday. What better way to celebrate than by doing something meaningful?
Daffodil Day is a symbol of hope, and this swim was my way of contributing to that message. Thank you to everyone who support the fundraiser—your generosity fuels vital research and brings us closer to a cancer-free future.
