In August, I’ll be plunging into cold water for the almost 1 in 2 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.
Please donate to my challenge!
The funds I raise from my Daffodil Day Dip challenge will help power world-class cancer research to save lives.
Your support means so much to me. Please help create a cancer free future by donating to my fundraiser now! 💛

My Updates
Thursday 20th Aug
1500m in ocean pool at 16 degrees
Felt really good. So much easier to swim in colder water when the sun is out and there’s no wind.
Wednesday 19th Aug
14th dip in 7 degrees ice bath
I have reached 14 dips or swims for Daffodil Day. On 28th of this month I will swim at night on a full moon all for a good cause.
Friday 14th Aug
10 dips logged
10 dips and swims logged
Wednesday 5th Aug
Swim in the cold at the beach
It was 3 degree when I left home early this morning and by the time I got to the beach it was 10 degrees. Air temp was sharp but the water was actually warm. If I swam in ocean pool it would have been about 15 degrees. Anyway getting up early and feeling the cold before I entered the ocean was all for a good cause
Saturday 1st Aug
1 August dip
Had to reacquaint myself with colder temperatures after spending one week in the tropics where the water was 28 degrees. Today I swam in the lakes up the mid north coast. It was about 15 degrees
Tuesday 23rd Jun
9 minutes in my cold plunge at 7 degrees
Feeling awake and it’s great to feel good whilst giving back. Hard to believe I’m three years in remission from Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. I think swimming and cold plunging has helped me but the care and dedication of my medical team at Genises Care saved my life, gave me hope and it was a second home during treatment. Oncology nursing care was amazing. Forever grateful .
Friday 19th Jun
Second dip
Managed just over 5 minutes in the plunge pool at home at 7.5 degrees. It’s great to raise funds for a worthy cause and reap the health benefits of ice bathing.
Wednesday 17th Jun
My first dip
I’ve started early to acclimatise. Did 5 minutes in the cold plunge at 7.5 degrees. I actually loved it.
