In August, I’ll be plunging into cold water for the almost 1 in 2 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.
Please donate to my challenge!
The funds I raise from my Daffodil Day Dip challenge will help power world-class cancer research to save lives.

My Updates

Dips Dips and more Dips
Starting my dips was a struggle. I had returned from summer in Greece from 30+ degrees and the water being 21 degrees to winter and the water being about 11degrees! A whole 10 degrees less. My bright yellow cap was speaking to me on the coffee table and it inspired me to get off my backside at last!
My goal was to do 3 dips a week, after I learnt that I needed to have a hysterectomy on the 27th of August I thought I needed to adjust my goal. So from the 18th I have been going consecutive days and this will be until and including the 26th.
That will be 13 dips/swims in total. Three more than my previous goal of 10.
I am so proud of me and doing an activity that I truly love and enjoy> also that I am able to raise funds for the cancer council.
Theres no stopping me after my recovery!

Dippity, dip for me too! Great effort for a great cause. X
