Tuesday 5th Aug
Thankyou to everyone for your kindness and generosity in supporting me in raising much needed funds for cancer research. I love and appreciate you all and I am so blessed and thankful to have such beautiful people in my life.
1st Swim- 5th August - Merewether Ocean Baths. Water was murky after all the rain, thankful that the sun was shining for the Swim. 2nd Swim - 6th August - Kylie's very chilly pool. She thinks I'm mad. 3rd Swim - 7th August- Newcastle Ocean Baths. Very windy, raining, freezing day - lucky i had a precious supporter with me. Thankyou Liam. 4th Swim - 10th August- Newcastle Ocean Baths. The rain stopped and a rainbow appeared just in time for a swim. The water was invigorating? 😅. 5th Swim - Kylie's pool. Thankyou Kylie for having the hot shower running, ready. 6th Swim - Newcastle Ocean Baths. So much fun having my own personal cheer squad today. My day was made. Thankyou Annette, Kerry and Bernie and our new Dr friends from John Hunter Hospital. 7th Swim - Pelican - Lake Mac- very murky after the rain and extreamly fresh. Cheer squad Leis came along but said it was too cold to get out of the car to get a photo 🤣😂. Really Leisa!! She did, however. 8th Swim - Kylie's pool.....frrreeezzzinng. thanks to Kylie for the warm shower. 9th Swim - 23rd August - Merewether Ocean Baths - so nice to finally have the sun shining. 10th Swim - 24th August- I'VE REACHED MY GOAL wooohooo. Hubby came for the occasion and cheered me on.. Naru - Lake Macquarie - beautiful day 😍
