Today was definitely uncomfortable 🤨 it was the coldest the water has been. But it’s good preparation for August! 🏊‍♀️ 

A beautiful swim today, helped along by a gentle, rolling swell. 

Waves in the face as I swam helped to keep me focussed 😏 Still… I’m glad to be able to swim in such a beautiful spot

So good to be back in the water again! Lovely temp both in and out of the water. No wind so it was a calm and easy swim 💜💙💚

No sun today but air temp not too bad due to cloud cover. And a nice, still ocean for today’s swim 💖

Took me a bit longer to get used to the water today, but eventually I got into a rhythm and it was absolutely beautiful

Had the place to myself because it’s cold here today… feels like 3.9 degrees according to the BOM 😜 Invigorating swim and a lovely sunny afternoon 

Beautiful swim but longer than usual because the tides/currents were working against me 😂 Wonderful swim though, and a cormorant kept me company for a few minutes while sourcing his breakfast 💖

Gorgeous day and accompanied by two puppies of the sea this morning for my swim 🥰

I felt the difference in water temp today. Thankfully the sun was out and it was still pleasant to swim and then walk for a coffee 💖 

Absolutely beautiful to be able to dip today. Met a lovely group of local women doing the same thing. Good vibes to all 🙏

Bit cooler today as there wasn’t any sun on the beach 🥶 But still a lovely swim and then home to rug up and have a cuppa ☕️

Perfect weather today at Dalmeny beach. I managed to use the outgoing inlet tide to catch a ride to the ocean. The tide was getting strong though so I got out just in time before it would have taken me to NZ 😏

It was colder out of the water than in today!  Beautiful and clear, with only one other swimmer. A post-swim snack of hot chips and an iced latte were called for 😏

Cold today but beautiful once I adjusted to the temperature. I had a seal for company, just cruising up and down in the shallows. And a huge sea eagle overhead that was riding the wind currents looking for a meal.

Another gorgeous day for a dip. The water was crystal clear. Cool but still enjoyable to stay in for a while. Beach all to myself again 🫶

This morning I dipped into the beautiful ocean at Bar Beach Narooma, in the netted inlet area. Just one other swimmer. It was beautiful 💙

Today’s dip was at Bermagui Blue Pools on the NSW far south coast. Absolutely beautiful!
