As a cancer survivor, this challenge is deeply personal.
Cancer changes you in ways that most people—thankfully—will never have to experience. I’m taking part in the Daffodil Day Dip to honour my own journey, as well as my mum, two aunties, my cousin, and my cousin once removed, who have each faced their own battle with cancer.
Every dollar raised helps fund world-class cancer research that saves lives and brings us closer to better treatments—and one day, a future without cancer.
My hope is that through research, future generations of my family, and families everywhere, won’t have to endure the fear, treatment and lifelong impact of cancer.
