Play Nest Springwood

Together we are creating a cancer free future.

I’m fundraising for Daffodil Day, to support advancements in life-saving cancer research.

This year, Daffodil Day means a lot to all of us at Play Nest Early Learning Springwood. Earlier this year, we lost our beautiful friend and team member, Cassie, after her brave fight with cancer. Cassie was such a bright, happy part of our team and touched the lives of so many children and families here. We miss her every single day.

We’re fundraising in Cassie’s memory to help support cancer research, in the hope that one day, other families won’t have to go through what we have.

On Friday, 29 August 2025, we’ll be wearing yellow—a colour as bright and full of life as Cassie—to show our support for Daffodil Day. We’d love for our families and community to join us: wear a splash of yellow, donate if you can, and help us keep Cassie’s memory shining.

Every little bit helps, and it means the world to us to honour Cassie in this way. 🌼💛
