Donate for Cancer Research

By Cynthia Castro

Together we are creating a cancer free future.

I’m fundraising for Daffodil Day, to support advancements in life-saving cancer research.

Please help me in my fundraising efforts by donating and providing hope for a cancer free future, not only for those impacted by cancer, but for all Australians and immigrants.

Last year I  was diagnosed with a retroperitoneal sarcoma, a rare type of cancer that usually gets discovered at an advanced stage. Mine was a 6 kg tumour in my abdomen. Very little is known about this and other types of malignancies, that's why supporting cancer research is so important.

The funds I raise will help power world-class cancer research to save lives. This year we'll be supporting two researchers from ACT:  Dr. Zaytseva and Dr. Wang from The Australian National University (ANU) – Cancer Council ACT’s 2025 research grant recipients.

Your support means so much to me!

With your help, we're getting closer to a cancer free future
