I’m fundraising for Daffodil Day, to support advancements in life-saving cancer research.
Over the years, cancer has quietly but powerfully touched the lives of people I care about—some friends, some acquaintances, all unforgettable. Watching their courage, their vulnerability, and their strength has left a lasting impression on me.
This year, I wanted to do something more than just reflect. I’m hosting a Cancer Party in August to bring people together, raise funds for Daffodil Day, and support the vital work of the Cancer Council. Whether it’s funding research or offering support during the hardest moments, these efforts matter deeply.
This is my way of honouring the people I’ve known, helping those currently facing cancer, and giving back in a meaningful way. We grow a wide variety of daffodils, so there will be lots of beautiful flowers for sale - all proceeds will go directly to Cancer Council.
