In August, I’ll be plunging into cold water for the almost 1 in 2 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.

Please donate to my challenge!

The funds I raise from my Daffodil Day Dip challenge will help power world-class cancer research to save lives.

Your support means so much to me. Please help create a cancer free future by donating to my fundraiser now! 💛

My Stevie was the special Special Guest today and he even got in the water!

Thursday 28th Aug

Day 28: Solo dip today

Very quick in-and-out, I don't have time for this. Still windy and dumpy, but today was sunny at least. Three days to go in August!

Wednesday 27th Aug

Day 27: Triple dip!

Double Daffodil and lovely supporter. Windy and wavy today - proper sand up the bathers swim!

Tuesday 26th Aug

Day 26: Another Double Daffodil dip!

Our diaries aligned! AND the weather was glorious and the water warm enough once you were in. So good to dip with Rachel.

Monday 25th Aug

Monday 18th Aug

Day 18: Two choices - COLD and sunny or less cold and RAIN?

I chose COLD and sunny .... gusty wind blew my swim bag away!

Sunday 17th Aug

Day 17: Chilly westerly today

Forgot my goggles so happy not to put my face in the cold water!

Sunday 17th Aug

Day 16: Managed to find the clouds and rain between the sunny spells

Cold getting out of the water!

Friday 15th Aug

Thursday 14th Aug

Day 14: Waiting waiting waiting for a gap in the rain

Took Cole's Cancer Council hat for a trial swim too!

Wednesday 13th Aug

Day 13: Special Guest Swim!

Shelley got me over the line to swim today - look at the sun! Look at the smiles!

Tuesday 12th Aug

Day 12: Brrrrisk brrrreeze today

Water was picture perfect, but BRRRRRRR

Monday 11th Aug

Day 11: Dipped in a friend's unheated pool instead

Tired of waiting for the sea to be clean with all this rain!

Friday 8th Aug

Much loved on social media it was too!

Wednesday 6th Aug

Day 6: Bit nippier today

Another post-exam dip

Tuesday 5th Aug

Day 5: What a way to wash away that exam room feeling

Blue skies and clean water at Camp Cove for the first time in August!

Monday 4th Aug

Day 4: People were SURFING at Nielsen Park

Bracing start to the day.

Friday 1st Aug

Day 1: Got a lucky gap in the rain

The water was actually warmer than the freezing sand on my feet, but it was still COLD!
