Here's the thing...
I'm not stranger to fundraising by doing weird things. I'm also no stranger to leaping into cold water, as anyone who saw our posts when we travelled through the Nordics a couple of years ago. Sea, lake, fjord, ice bath - all viable options.So why this? Why now? Because I can. I can do crazy things to raise funds for cancer research so others have a chance, so families don't have to watch a loved one succumb. Eight years since we lost Dad, four since Colin, twenty since Aunty Jenny. And Simon didn't get enough years (but what he had was certainly lived!)Si I'll have to make it interesting. Maybe any donation over $100, that'll get its own individual plunge. Maybe a timed plunge for $250? I think we can have some fun at my expense and exposure while we raise money for a bloody good cause.
