I’ve known several people in my life who have had various forms of cancer. My Grandmother died from a Melenona that spread to her Lymph system, one of my bestest friends overseas has testicular cancer, a cousin’s partner beat breast cancer some years ago, and I have many friends who also have known those who have beaten cancer, have a form of cancer currently or sadly lost their lives due to cancer. I made a new friend recently who has the life long impact of bowl cancer now, and there are not new treatments that could help treat the kind of cancer she had.
I am doing this in memory of my grandmother, Amy, those who also have a loved one battling with cancer, and also for those still getting treatment and medical care. The funds I raise from my Daffodil Day Dip challenge will help power world-class cancer research to save lives.
