Day 6
Today didn't feel as cold in the water, but the temp was the same.
It was an almost meditative experience, and I didn't want to get out. Five minutes and ten frozen toes later, I had to concede that the day was progressing, and I had to as well.

Day 5
Day 5Came home from work yesterday feeling unwell and I’m not really feeling the love today. However, thisis a minor inconvenience compared to what people battling cancer deal with every minute if the day and don’t get to sit out a bad day. Found the pool thermometer and nearly got eaten by a ginormous spider in the process. The thermometer then tried to gaslight me by claiming the water is 16 degrees.
Monday 4th Aug

I think the sun was also reluctant to rise this morning, but we did it and took the plunge.
Air temp 12 degreesPool temp unknown (couldn't find the pool thermometer in the dark)
But I did bake a loaf of bread while plunging because why not.
Sunday 3rd Aug
Day 3
Air temp 16 degrees Pool temp 15 degrees They are not the same. The ocean was rough, so we took a dip in the pool. Many squeals and lots of laughter, but we did it.
Saturday 2nd Aug
Day 2
First ocean swim with Shelley.
Air Temp 15 degreesOcean Temp 19 degrees.... allegedlySwam to the marker buoy and back.
Let's just say the experience was exhilaratingly fresh.
