The disappointment is real. Currently taking a medical time out as I rest a case of chilblains heal a little. Whilst I only have three dips to reach my goal, I am saddened to need to take a break. I was shocked when the doctor told me what was going on. And so it is 💛
I'll be back in no time 💛

Early morning dip at Lewisham with a temperature of 0.6°C, feels like -5.0°C!! An absolutely perfect way to stay the day! So fun, especially with my friends, Alice!!

Today I went for a twilight dip at Lewisham with my dear dear friend, Alice. With an air temperature of just 6°C, the water felt deliciously warm.
We're hoping for a snow covered kunanyi in the morning for our dip. Stay tuned!!

I love swimming in the wild ocean when there's a storm whipping up. The rain didn't quite make it before, dear Alice, and I had to leave, but what an invigorating dip this was!
Alice is also participating in the challenge and has swum every day. What a best! Well done, Alice!

Probably my longest dip ever. So, dare I say it, relaxing. I'm loving this challenge so much! Loving raising money for cancer research.

This felt like a real beach with waves n all! The water felt positively balmy, even though I'm sure it was not much different to anywhere else i.e. bloody cold. In fact, I just checked the water temp, and it's 12.1C

What an absolutely delightful dip! Again I was the lone dipper, enjoying what was on offer by mother nature. A somewhat tumultuous sky, but with a ray of sunshine sneaking through, which I somehow managed to score. Bonus!
