Dip 30 of 31 - A weekend camping trip away, meant that I had to find somewhere to dip. My morning dip ended up being in Blue Rock Lake just out of Noojee. Water temperature was similar to home (which surprised me). 11.3°C

This morning we held our Submerge Team Morning Tea Fundraiser. Traditional devonshire teas, delicious raspberry and white chocolate muffins and other home made sweet treats were sold. There was also a raffle. It was lovely to see how this community came together to raise funds for such a worthy cause. Then this afternoon, we got together for today's dip. 

This morning, a few of our team needed to dip early due to other committments, so I joined them at 6:30. This was dip # 20. The rest of our group dipped at 7am.

Hi all!  It's that time of year again. The Cancer Council Daffodil Day dipping fundraising challenge. (Well, that was a mouthful! )This year I'll be continuing to dip, and hopefully manage to dip each day in August all the while raising funds and awareness for the good work that the Cancer Council do.And.....our Submerge crew have formed a team. So there will be greater accountability. Together we hope to raise as much money as we can, but also show our support to friends and loved ones who have been impacted by Cancer. There wouldn't be too many people that haven't dealt with this cruel disease. Lets hope that with funds and continued research, we can have a future without Cancer in it.
