🌼 I'm taking the plunge for Daffodil Day! 🌊
This year, I’ve signed up for the Daffodil Day Dip Challenge — and yes, that means braving the cold water — all to raise vital funds for life-saving cancer research.
Cancer has touched my life more times than I ever imagined. At just 19, while pregnant with my first baby, I was diagnosed with melanoma. During that terrifying time, doctors also found a lump in my groin, which was removed alongside the melanoma.Since then, I’ve had five basal cell carcinomas removed and battled through cervical cancer. My journey has been far from easy, and it’s not just mine.💔 I lost my beautiful mum to lung cancer. When she was just 50.
💔 My husband’s dad also passed away after a battle with bowel cancer.
💔 My husband also went through the battle of bowel cancer at age 30 and survived.
This challenge isn’t just about the dip — it’s about honouring those we've lost, supporting those still fighting, and backing the brilliant minds working every day to find a cure.
If you’re able, please consider donating — every dollar goes toward world-class cancer research that saves lives.
No amount is too small.
Thank you
💛Nic
I’ve helped equip 5 researchers with essential lab equipment needed to conduct life-saving research.
A huge thank you and shoutout to my biggest supporter, Facebook for donating $100 to help fund the next cancer breakthrough.
Best of luck Nic xx great cause.
