Ness, Manna, and I are planning to brave the cold and swim at least 10 times in August to raise funds for all those we know and love who have had cancer kill their joy. I'm going to be particularly thinking of my courageous brother Jeff and his brain cancer, my gorgeous cousin Tracey and her breast cancer, and those that have lost their fight to cancer, my Aunty Billie and Aunty Valma, as well as Father Ted, my island Dad and art mentor.
