Today we did a test run of the gorgeous yellow daffodil swim caps, because one of the beavers cant make it on Thursday. When I left Leongatha there was ice on my car, never a good sign of a warm morning. The temperature went from 3 degrees in Leongatha to 1 along the way and back up to 5 when we arrived in Inverloch. The hardest part of dipping is getting out of the warm car and warm layers of clothing into just bathers!It was a full high tide this morning with waves lapping up the ramp, no time for milling when its this high. It was all systems go, caps on and straight into the swell. The water wasnt as chilly as last week but still an invigorating way to wake up for the day. We spent a lovely 16 minutes in the water.Looking forward to Thursday's dip, it is supposed to be just as cold but a beautiful sunny day, I cannot wait to see what magical morning mother nature prepares for us.

Another stunning morning for the Icebeavers Ocean Dip at Inverloch. We were blessed with a full moon still in the sky to the west and a beautiful pastel sunrise to the east. The tide was at its lowest which meant a chilly walk out to the water, then a steep drop off getting into the channel. The water was ice cold, yet we stayed in the longest period to date  - 20 whole minutes! We have been so lucky with the weather since we started dipping 25 weeks ago - can count on one hand the rainy, windy or frosty days. We dip in rain, hail or snow.
