In August, I'm taking the plunge in the Daffodil Day Dip in honour of my beautiful friend, Sally
Anyone who knew Sally knows there was always a ridiculously hilarious adventure waiting every time you got together. She had the biggest heart, the quickest wit, and I know she'd think it was absolutely hilarious that I'm willingly jumping into freezing cold water.
What makes this challenge even more special is that 20 August, the day of the dip, is also Sally's birthday. It feels like taking the plunge was meant to be.
Every dollar raised will help fund world-class cancer research and bring us closer to a future where fewer families have to experience this heartbreaking loss.
