NUNGARIN DAFFODIL DAY 2026

By NUNGARIN DAFFODIL DAY COMMITTEE

Together we are creating a cancer free future.

Continuing on the legacy of this auspicious event in the Eastern Wheatbelt over the past 20 years.

Many are impacted by cancer in some way, and in rural communities the reach appears further. It is more likely that you will know someone or their families who have been impacted by cancer. During these times is when the community of small towns band together.

You have come to the right place to make a donation directly to the Cancer Council of WA if were unable to attend the
Nungarin Daffodil Day fundraising event and wish to make a donation directly.

We very much appreciate your help to the Nungarin community in our fundraising efforts. With the collective efforts across the state,
we  hope for a cancer free future for all Australians.

$10,000 Raised in 2025

Wednesday 6th May

The very first Nungarin Daffodil Day held on Friday, August 22nd, at the Nungarin Recreation Centre, burst into life and bloomed beautifully.

Nungarin community spirit was on full display with approximately 250 people of all ages in attendance - it felt like the whole region came together to celebrate, connect and support a great cause. We are still in awe of how many people attended - surpassing our best guess on numbers!

As our first-ever Daffodil Day, we couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. The funds raised reflect the incredible support for this important cause, and it's clear that our little town has once again shown the power of coming together. Nungarin may be small, but our community spirit is mighty—we welcome visitors with open arms and a genuine country heart.

With such a successful start, we are already looking forward to 2026 Daffodil Day with hopes to make it even bigger and better next year.

Thank you to my Supporters
