In August, I’ll be plunging into cold water for the almost 1 in 2 Australians who will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.

Please donate to my challenge!

The funds I raise from my Daffodil Day Dip challenge will help power world-class cancer research to save lives.

Your support means so much to me. Please help create a cancer free future by donating to my fundraiser now! 💛

Cold water quest

Searching for some cold water whilst heading to the northern hemisphere to take my daughter back to university.

Thursday 14th Aug

Uriarra Crossing Dip #4.

Tess and I went on an adventure to Uriarra crossing in search of some even chillier water. We found it! Coldest dip yet.

Wednesday 13th Aug

Yarralumla Dip #3

Today we braved the Canberra cold and along with my friend Steph and daughter Tess we jumped into Lake Burley Griffen - it was cold but not as bad as we thought it would be.

Sunday 10th Aug

Gannet beach Dip #2

Today we strolled a little further and did some body surfing at Gannet beach. The sun was out which made for a crazy 10min body surfing session.

Saturday 9th Aug

Bawley Point Dip #1.

Game on! My friend Katrina and I had a weekend away at balmy Bawley Pont and jumped through the waves for a short but sweet and refreshing dip.

Lets swim for a cure!

As a mum of teenage children and at a time when friends and family members are being affected by cancer in one way or another, I have taken to swimming as a means of self care. To help deal with all the emotions, feelings and stress. I have recently moved from an island lifestyle of ocean swimming with ‘my pod’ to lap swimming solo and waterpolo with ‘my team’. The self care of swimming no matter what the medium is such a relief for the mental load and I highly recommend others to join the club.
